Referee Camps & Scholarship Program

  • EBOA wants as many officials as possible to attend a camp this spring or summer!
  • EBOA is offering a limited number of scholarships and is based on first come-first served.
  • EBOA is offering a $125 reimbursement towards a camp of participants’ choice (camp must be completed by end of September)
  • The camp you attend must be paid for prior to applying for the scholarship. Please send the receipt to Errol Parker, Brandon Wight & Mike Ryan.
  • The deadline for applications is May 31.  We will notify applicants quickly after if they have been approved.
  • Participants will be expected to attend and briefly report their camp experience to the EBOA board via email within 7 days after the camp.  Send the report to Errol Parker & Mike Ryan.

To apply for the scholarship approval, fill out the form using the link on the Arbiter Dashboard under ANNOUNCEMENTS (CLICK HERE) now.  Payment from EBOA will be made to you after you attend the camp, email proof of payment & email a brief summary of your camp experience.

To receive money after camp attendance:  1-Attend the camp.  2-Email proof of payment.  3- Email a brief written report of what you got out of the camp.  Send emails to Errol Parker ( Ref.EParker@gmail.com ), Brandon Wight ( brandonjwight@gmail.com ) & Mike Ryan ( michaeldavidryan@outlook.com ).

Deadline to submit your scholarship application email is May 30th. We will inform you ASAP if you have been awarded the scholarship.

Participants may attend any camp they choose. There are many camps to choose from, including, but not limited to the following:

 

NORTHWEST Officiating Experience – Sherwood, OR (May 29 – 31, 2026) Click HERE to Register.  (This camp fills up quickly, so hurry)

Camp Details:

  • Dates: May 29-31, 2026
  • Location: Sherwood High School
  • Cost: $225 for camp.

This includes at no additional cost to your camp fee:

  • Camp gift
  • Friday – Dinner
  • Saturday – Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
  • Sunday – Breakfast/Lunch

Camp Registration Information:

Other information:

  • Camp will be capped at 60 campers!
  • We will have a waitlist to fill spots for changes, as those will occur.
  • Camp confirmation will begin on April 1 for those who have already signed up prior.

o   Refunds will be provided to those who are not confirmed.

  • A hotel block for out of town officials is in development and will be shared once that is confirmed.
